    Gday Robbo,
I went to Host Auto Repairs in Northam.
Looks like you will need an immobiliser, unless you can wait a year
I will be around your area next week, keep an eye out.
    Paul

    Where did you take it?

Good to hear you got yours on the road so easily Paul. I think I probably was unlucky to go to my local garage at Yanchep and score a bit of a list of things to sort but I went back yesterday after completing the list and it passed easily. Very excited to be driving it now as a registered vehicle in WA. I riveted the plates on last night and haven't wiped the smile off my face yet. I have had a set of Wolf rims sitting in the shed for some time with the idea that when I get a Perentie I will fit them on, shod with some 255/85/16 BF Goodrich's. Probably one of the few mod's I will do but I think a good one for the type of driving I do. I must say after a drive home from tyre dealer this afternoon I am pretty impressed with the improvement in the road noise and ride. Looking forward to getting out ARN-51245 this weekend. Too right!

It's sooo easy to fit the tyres with the lettering inside, Big Friendly Giant aren't paying me to buy and wear their tyres, why should I give them free advertising.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Ha, I wasn't there when the tires went on. And I don't know which way I would have had it done anyway. Not even fussed really.

Some regular application of black boot polish or tyre black will disguise it. I know that I had the white out, back when I was a kid, but the 1970's is a distant memory and I insist on them lettering in these days.

BTW: Can you come over so I can admire them? (I need to replace some BFG's on my Defender! You'll hardly notice the wear on them when you leave )

Probably closer for you BadCo as I am around 3500 kms away from the East Coast haha. I did about 100kms last night on the open road and then about 10kms on a track near to where I live and I was very impressed with the new tyres. All going well I will be heading North next week and will probably do about 1500-2000 kms depending on the weather and also the reliability of ARN 51-745. Hopefully be able to post some images of the trip when I get back. I am going to change all the oils and filters this weekend so I am starting with a clean slate. What is the recommended engine oil for the Isuzu engine? Regards Warrick.

That Pilbara red looks really nice. Much better than the dirty brown we get here in the east instead!
Tyres look good too! Currently saving for a set myself - though I plan on 235/85r16 on Dynamic steelies.
