defender rims on perentie
is there any problem fitting standard defender rims and tyres on a perentie?

No problem at all. Heck, most of the Perentie fleet used the same rims as civvy 90s and 110s until the introduction of alloys (albeit painted green).
Think of your perentie as green One Ten and you'll find it alot easier to get bits for...

RFSV split rims
The reason i asked about the standard defender rims was because my RFSV perentie split rims are so bloody heavy- ever tried lifting one these wheels?

They don't have any spring in them and the wheel nuts can work loose. A friend who used them extensively told me
