On my 4 door I have trouble seeing out the top of the LH door if there is an elevated road to the left. I'm 5'10". I also get my right arm jambed between the steering wheel and the window jamb if I forget to push my elbow out turning right.

Landys interior design reinforces correct driving technique, push pull and elbows down ;-)
I'm 6' 5", 97kg and the Perenties that I've sat in felt acceptable but I did learn how to drive in a V8 County. If anything, it felt more roomie than the County because there's no door lining, centre console or radio. I can't imagine why but Landrover decided to put the radio actually inside the driver's left knee cartilage on 1980's County models.
I wouldn't recommend a tall bloke buy a Series 3 though. The windscreen is often too short to even see as high as the horizon. Driving my dad's back up the Yorke Peninsula, I had to ditch the seat base and just sit on a rolled up jumper in order to see any kind of distance up the road.
