    Tall Perentie driver??

Hey guys I hope you can help!.. I've exhausted the internet searching of an answer but to no avail. I'm 6'3 and as such it can be a P-I-T-A fitting into things lol... Have any taller blokes here had problems fitting in these?...I did read maybe accidentally slamming your right leg between the door and the steering upon closing can be an issue but I still gotta ask!...

    Thanks guys, Chris.

I am 6'4" and can almost not drive one. I certainly wouldn't try to use one as an every day car. I would like to own one of the ones with no doors and the spare tyre on the side, as you can hang your knee sideways through the door opening and they are quite comfortable.

Hmm i see... Is the problem your having that your knees are up under and too close to the steering wheel?..

I find I can't lift my right foot high enough to get it onto the brake pedal, I have to flex my ankle back as well. Leg / knee gets wedged between the door and the steering wheel. I guess a smaller diameter steering wheel would help.

    I'm 6'3" and don't have a problem, but I only weight 75Kg! (I've got a 1990 FFR 110, Fitted with the ISRI seats)

I'm not going to guess how much BigJon weighs, but let's just say I wouldn't arm wrestle him as he'd probably break my arm! (He is very muscular )

I also like an upright driving position, so for me the back of the seat is pretty vertical, so I can have the seat base back a little further.

    G'day Regional, welcome.
Spudboy mentioned the ISRI seats, they have a very comfy base that is nearly twice as thick as a standard County seat. If you subbed that, you migt find a precious few inches.
Can't say for certain if a Mud stle seat rail extension would help, but knowing how snug the seat is to the bulkhead/Rollbar, I would lean toward no.
As John says, Get a Surveillance, cut it down, take the doors off or just the tops and you are away ;-)
    Cheers, BDave.

Aw, you will make me blush! For the record I got on the scales yesterday and tipped over about 123 kg.

Hey Regional just wondering if you have had a look at the mulgo seat rail extensions not sure weather they would foul at the rear of the seat or not just a thought.

Hey again. Thanks for all the info guys it's given me a bit to have a think about, much appreciated!

I'm not a hulk either, only 80kgs myself so I reckon I'll be fine there .

I also enjoy that more upright seating position and those Mulgo seat extensions look like at great idea, if you could make 'em fit lol... There's a good review on YouTube there I saw.

....now, time to buy . Thanks guys!
