Starting this thread for owners to submit photo's of their Perentie's with non-standard wheels and tyres so the rest of us can get an idea. Please provide details of :

Hi cinan - here are the details for a LR 110 that lives here

    Registered ex-mil LR 110

    Tyre manufacturer : BFG
Tyre model: MT (tubeless of course)
Tyre size: 255 85 16s (this size spare also fits in the spare wheel space - probably the largest that will fit in that space)
Wheel size of offset: ? ? - standard D1 wheels (as you can see)

The speedo over-read is now quite minimal, and the ground clearance is improved

It probably also helps that it has a KLR turbo to help drive the larger diameter tyres

NB: this info has previously been posted in similar threads on this site

A mate sold me some cheap steel 5-50Fx16x33 Defender rims that I sprayed black.

    They've been fitted with:
    Hero Dynastorm A/T's
    235 85 R16

Heaps smoother ride than the Perentie originals.

How do you go for clearence between the rear spring seat and inside of the tyre at full articulation? Mine used to rub with standard suspension, standard disco rims and 235/85s

Others have said this, but it doesn't happen with BFGs, photos have been previously posted in prior threads on this very subject that show the clearance

Does anyone with new wheels still have the old ones they want to sell? My Perentie came without a spare, so after an original spare wheel if anyone has one or two going...

Or any ideas for the best place to source a replacement original?

Post this again in wanted section for a result mate !!

I had some 30mm offset Rangie wheels & 235x 85 BF Goodrich All Terrains so matched them up. Not too tacky !!

I thought black wheel nuts would be something different.
