    Perentie steering track rod

    Hi
Could somebody let me know if the steering track rod on the 4x4 Perentie is the same as the track rod on a civilian defender.
    Thanks,

    Phil.

The drag link at the front is the same but the track rod (at the rear of the front diff) is much heavier on the perentie. About twice the diameter.

As Brian says the track rod looks to be sleeved and is much heavier duty than a civilian 110. I still bent mine though so they're not unbendable. I have a spare one in the shed but prefer my offset item which solves the issue by moving it out of harms way as much as possible.

    Thanks Gents.
I have to fit a rear track rod to get my soon to be acquired Perentie onto a trailer.
I will install a standard defender one and replace it later.

    Photo's soon.

    Regards,

    Phil B
