OK I will start it off with a few pics of my 6x6. Since purchasing it I have done the following to it. Roof mount Red Dot Air con. Insulation and carpet in the cab. Ignition and door locks. CD/radio with bluetooth. Codan 9323 HF. GME 80ch UHF. Locking fuel caps. 300L long range fuel tank under tray along with 85L water tank and 2nd spare. Onboard air system using a twin cyl York aircon compressor and airhose outlets on both sides of the tray just behind the cab. FFR twin battery system with charging from standard 12V alternator via a ignition actuated isolator. Ashcroft 1 piece centre diff cross shaft. Diff ratios changed from 4.7 to 3.54 with Detroit no spins in the rear diffs and a Trutrac with Ashcroft HD 3.5 reverse cut CW&P in the front and hi tough axles all round. Exedy HD clutch, KLR turbo upgrade with a 3" exhaust. Headlight upgrade with relays on both sides. Safari snorkel. Extra power outlets in the cab and rear tray. LED strip lights in the rear. Homemade standard type towbar which allows use of the pintle as well. Freewheeling hubs on rear axle with a separate vacuum switch to engage so that normal CDL on front and intermediate diffs can be actuated on the move without trying to engage the rear drive shaft which is stationary due to the freewheelers and a modification which will prevent the carrier bearing on the 3rd axle drive shaft flogging around should it fail. Still to come is a set of custom side steps and rails but I haven't had time to do them yet - been rebuilding LT95's for a couple of weeks now. I believe she served in East Timor but was in a very bad state when I got her
Brilliant now though. New lease on life!
Here is the ADF publicity photo with your FFR 48-749 up the back of the vessel, about to be 'in-country'. There may be other photos. The photo info is 9th June 2006, Op Astute, 3RAR and Commandos. My son's FFR was in Op Astute as well.

edit, just looked at the photo and the uploading here has compressed it to very low resolution. I will ad a detail pic, see how it goes then.
edit2, better.
BTW, there may be doubts when looking at the close-up, whether the second plate digit is a 8 or 9.. i.e., 48-749 LR or 49749 LR. Rest easy, 49-749 is a GS with winch. (have AFM photos).
