HI, two screws to take off the lens, then the globe needs to be pushed in and 1/4 turn anti clockwise and it should pop out, the globes have two pins on them

they can be quite stuck sometimes, I've even had to brake the glass and get some pointy nose plyers onto the metal base to be able to turn them

    hope this helps

How did you get the reverse lights to come on? Is someone in the driver's seat?

Mine only work when the engine is running.

Jump in, start engine, put in reverse, kill engine

you get maybe 10 seconds of reverse lights before they lose pressure?

    Hi Minikeg
Your headlights look great, better than the standard candles. Did you just change the bulbs? What bulbs did you replace them with.

    Minikeg,
To check operation of reversing lights solo with the engine running you can put the transfer into neutral and then engage reverse with handbrake on.
Can't take credit for this one - thanks to JDNSW who posted it here when I was sorting mine out.

    Cheers, Dave

I got a HID conversion kit, 6000k 35w from sca, bout $80 on clearance.

The xenon light ranges starting with yellow, going whitest at 6000k and slowly going blue towards 12000k. The closer to 12000k the bluer the light but the less it travels. General consensus is 6000k is the brightest, whitest light available which throws the light further.

Much better than standard, only required a 15mm hole drilled in the bowl for cable exit, and then the ballasts mounted (i stuck mine to the sides of the radiator panel). Kit came ready to go, just has a H4 power socket on one side to pick up headlight switch power and a line to the battery (starter anyway) which hopefully makes the lr stalk last much longer with no load. Also the kits 30w so its less than your standard halogen headlights.

while the answer to this could be yes, I got new 'headlights' also, with LED rings inside them ala BMW angel eyes for my series III 2 years ago but it never made it to the road, so I used them instead

Cause it will change that link to an advertisement thing, put the item number 231309613770 into ebay, $80 USD for similar ones.
