Yep. It would have been a Shockcraft shuttle wagon.

I've got a rangie with the 4BD1T and Isuzu 5 speed gearbox. The now shelved plan was to get a 6 speed to shoe-horn into the rangie and shuffle the rangie gearbox (already setup for long-stick lever) over to the perentie.
Then turbo, sound insulation, AC, better heater etc.

Good thing I didn't find one really. I really don't need another project.

My 9 seater loves to sit on 110km/h. I have to hold back the reigns to keep her under 100! And she dosen't like 80km/h.

If you had made it to the auctions you might have picked it up for not much more then your budget!

OT still, never heard of shockcraft. Is it your own brand or one you distribute?

Thanks for the link, I have actually read that thread too just didn't realise that's what my truck was.

Now I'm in a pickle, I had so much planned for my truck and now I'm not sure if I should just restore it?

Sorry I meant comfortable for me, not keen on industrial deafness! Actually does yours have standard wheels? My truck is revving a lot at 100-110 and is very loud, is yours not?

Yes mine is bog stock from the Army. Original wheels and tyres.
Loud? Well if I could hear normally I would say it could be. But with my hearing I just call the sweet road noise my radio.

I'll hook you up. It's also quite good for Aussies as you don't pay NZ GST (15% cheaper) and your freight cost is only $2 more than within NZ.

Shockcraft is the company but we also brand some products as Shockcraft. We've been distributing Enduro bearings and seals along with IGUS bushings and Motorex fluids for about 8 years now. Bought in our own line of Monocrome BB's, bearings and bushings about 4 years ago. Recently took on staff and expanded into fork and some shock servicing.
Now the official NZ agent for Manitou.
We have dealt with just under half the bike shops in NZ and sell retail too.

Budget keeps shrinking. The new clean workshop setup for servicing wasn't cheap, pricing up a new portable office right now.

I think a functional build is far better than a true restoration. There's no point having rivet counting originality in a vehicle that never gets driven. I'd keep the camo, sort out the interior (incl sound proofing) and add a turbo.

You paid for it, you do as you please with it. If a collector thought it was valuable enough they should have bought it before you did. Pony up or shut up. It makes the other 37 more valuable so those aleady with them should be happy!
I'm keeping my FFR mostly stock but that's my personal choice and nobody else can tell me what I can/can't modify...
