Pretty sure all brake fluids of the same rating/type are mixable. I use PBR DOT 3 yellow lid stuff in my County and FFR.

Do any of you ex service mechanics be able to say what brake fluid the Army used in the Perenties?
I'm guessing it is some type of Castrol?
Had a leak in the cap and need to top it up. Fluid looks new and I don't want to mix the incorrect type.
Cheers, AIF.

I would just top it up with a brand name fluid.......
