Above any other 110 or above any other Perentie?
I would suggest that any Isuzu powered 110 is more capable than a Defender.

The 4x4 Perentie has a worse departure angle than a Defender. Approach angle is in favour of a standard bumper bar too.
Available torque and gearing counts for a bit but I think some people are wearing rose tinted glasses... (Okay I haven't owned a Defender but do drive with many owners with from stock standard to fairly wild modded Defenders)
Heh. Intra-Landie rivalry flare up. LOL.
What makes this one more capable than a stock Perentie is the turbo (on road capability), larger tyres, sliders (off road capabiliy), compliant rear seats (hauling mates / kids / broken down Tojo hithchiker capability), overall good looks (Defender owner anxiety generating capability).
Ok, the last one was a dig, but you get the idea?:p
Edit: it also demonstrates that Perentie owners can spend too much on mods, just like Defender owners. :D
I think what AFM have shown here is that you can build a very low km perentie to a closer to defender standard in terms of looks and on road performance for a reasonable price outcome when compared to the defender. If you can find a defender with under 50000km that comes close to the final bill for this one you are doing pretty well
Just going to dig this up and ask if any knows where that grill is from?
