Ouch - I looks like the perentie was pushed around 5 metres.
Glad everyone was OK
Park the Perentie on a flat level area of concrete hard stand.
Check the level of the chassis both directions (level it with weights in the body if necessary.)
Then using a plumb-bob, mark the position on the ground of the corners of the chassis and pairs of elements (both sides) along the chassis rails.
When you have all the corners etc, move the Perentie off the marks and then check the diagonals. You can use the specs in the civilian 110 for the dimensions up to the rear spring mounts.
There are going to be slight differences within 2mm-3mm in manufacturing but much more than that will need to be straightened. Anything more than about 10mm-15mm may require replacement chassis (if it doesn't pull out with a chassis jig).
Taxis carry a lot of insurance, but you may be wise not to use your insurance, because they may write your Perentie off. Deal with the taxi's insurance direct.
Remember, you don't have an agreed value with the taxi's insurance company and they do not have a right to your damaged vehicle, but they do have a responsibility to repair the damage caused. If it is dealt with insurance company to insurance company, you may only end up with a cheque.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Good to see. 12 hours after the accident the RTA Placed lines and reflectors on the road to prevent this happening again.
If there was a passenger in the taxi I think it would have killed them.
I wonder if anyone will claim that the lines were there before?
Quickest response I have ever seen! Usually it akes a multi-fatality to force change at all, let alone within a week.
Do you know if you have a buy back option on the Perentie? Should still be worth the purchase price as parts...
Cheers, BDave.

The Taxi's Insurance company are looking at it tomorrow, They wanted me to get it towed to the Taxi base so I dont have to pay storage costs. I said I want it left where is as its not associated with the Taxi company.
