200k over 20 years it pretty cheap really !! I'd pay 10k a year for a merc 6x6 !! $190 a week including service costs. I think the average joe would find it hard to get that kind of deal. ?!?!Quote:

And it's also the amount budgeted for by Defence, not the value of the cheque handed to Mercedes. Other costs would include transporting vehicles from delivery to user units, re-training of mechanics and drivers, re-publishing of manuals and documents, re-equipping workshops with special tools. There's far more cost involved with buying a new vehicle fleet than just paying for the truck. By that, I mean the "Cost" is a lot more than the "Price".
