I think I heard or read somewhere a figure of 130,000 a unit which would have been a lot back in the late 80's early 90's.

I've think I've heard a value 220,000 AVERAGE unit cost for the new G wagons. That's averaging the 4x4 and 6x6. So could only imagine the cost of the 6x6 would be LOTS !!

    Just catching the perentie bug.

The 200K would include a warranty/spares/service agreement I would imagine.

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Spares and service over a 20 year intended lifespan.

I wonder if that will include rust repairs for the all steel body?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Yes - the pricing of the vehicles would include through life costs up to a certain point - probably doesn't include fuel but would include most other things.
