    New Perentie

Just bought this at auction in Brisbane. Picking her up on Monday

Super excited hopefully going to pimp it out as a hardcore 4x4 and camping vehicle for the family.

Are there any threads about must do or suggested mods for these babies guys

I hope the pic turns out!

Yes. Add a snorkel and a turbo. King springs, stainless exhaust and 33 inch Michel T's. Get 4 seat belt put in the back each side if it has seats and have it complied... Enjoy

Also pick up a number 5 trailer and bolt a caper ten to it for the full package. Also meant to mention sunny wheels.

The beauty of them is you don't have to do anything.
They are already a hardcore 4x4.
Comfort however is where you can spend some money (power steering, seat covers, two way, stereo, fridge, water tank etc). up to you how far you go.
BTW there have been 2 acticles here recently regarding trips to the Top End and The Simpson in standard Perenties.
Have a look in Coil Sprung Ex Mil. Vehicles.

    Congrats on the purchase.

Don't think i'd go wide wheels until the power steering is installed. I had them on mine when first purchased though is much easier to drive on the original 750's. They will go back on once the PS is in however.

Thanks dudes I'm crazy excited about this thing. I remember crashing through bush in them with the Army a long long time ago!

Looking forward to finding those threads about the trips across the Simpson and up to the top end

I've been hitting the gym so hopefully I wont have to pay for power steering!!!

To me it's more about getting out of parking spaces

    ditto

Really, the only time I have longed for PStr was in the carpark under a club. 3 levels down...

    1. rolling up the sides makes for excellent vision when reverse parking.
    2. read lots of perentie threads:
    eg
    Perentie: REMLR forum helpful threads
