Thread: Ambulance frame plan

I am now the proud owner of a 6x6 & am half way thru a camper fitout.
My ambulance came without the tow hitch!
Anyone know of where I can go to get one that fits?

I'm very interested to see how the 3.5's go with the turbo mod. I will be putting turbo, intercooler, exhaust, diffs and lockers in mine, just not sure about what ratio to get. I don't really want 1st or
Low range to be too high, but some better top end speed would be good.

My original plan was to run 3.9 ratios but finding a company that made them proved hard. I did find 4.1 out of the usa but after running the figures through Ashcrofts calculator I still wasn't happy with the results. At over $1000 each set if it wasn't right the only other option would be bigger tyres. With the 3.54 gears its easy to get spares if I bust 1 on the trip and if I want I can change the transfer case ratio to a range rover set 1.17 or a 110 set 1.34
