    Perentie brake disc condemning thickness

A friend has a perentie with discs on the steer, it has had club plates and he wishes to get full rego. He has had a preliminary roadworthy and has been told that the front discs need replacing, one is 14.2 mm and the other 14.5 mm. The question is what is the condemning thickness of these discs.
He has also been knocked for the Bull bar, and small sections of rust on the frame of the rear door and the skin on the front door. There were a couple of other small things that won't cost much to replace.
Hope someone can help with the discs and if they are crook where would one get them.
    Thanks for the help.
    Lindsay.

Past club rego but now with full rego, the bull bar has projections on the front that apparently are dangerous. I think I will loan him a bumper bar for the r/worthy. I have found some discs on flea bay for him.

It's not. It's on a club permit. The Victorian club permit rules are different to the Queensland club registration rules.
Your question may need to be a little less broad.

That is rubbish. The roadworthy inspector is applying the wrong ADRs. He doesn't know his job.
I reckon your solution is not a bad one in this case. If your bumper fits.

    EMEI VEH G 103 para 167. c. sayeth

    c. Measure the thickness of the disc. If it is less than 13mm (0.51in) replace the disc.

would you like to know more?
