The F truck is a 4 speed box too so I am not too worried about that, tray size is more important, it is a pity they never did a 130. I do like the rag top though as tool boxes and stuff in the try will stay dry. I suppose there is always a trailer for big stuff and hey bails..

SubscriberThe tray size on the 6x6 is larger than a 130, it is 3.2m x 2.2m.
With the two axles under the rear it would be great for hay bails.

I dont know, when Top Gear had that female racing driver drive a Ford Transit round the Nurbug ring it looked quite exciting to me

Yes that was Top Gear classic!! I love the bit were the Transit passes the motorbikesImagine you have paid your money to drive the Nurbug ring on a motorbike for the racing experience and you get passed by a diesel transit van!!

It is something I will look into further, it will either be a 130 tray back or a Perentie. I am off to a shoot in Brisbane and today we drove 650km towing the caravan with the Defender. Before I bought the Defender I had terrible back pain after as little as 60km never mind over 600km so for that reason alone I am sold on Land Rover simply as I am enjoying pain free driving again.
