The Terrafirma HD commercial shocks would be suitable.

I'm looking to replace the suspension on the perentie , springs are sagging a little and shocks appear to be original units.
What springs are on the 4x4 survey van? I can't find any reference to them anywhere. I have no urge to lift the vehicle although a small lift would be fine - say 25mm. ( I lifted my D1 and hated how it drove)
It is a survey hardtop if that makes any difference. Was thinking Koni Raids all round as well.
Looking for slightly improved road manners without impacting flex too much.
Anyone done it or have advice?
Cheers,
Matt

Perenties are already lifted 40mm front and 50mm rear over stock Defender, as measured the Gwyn Lewis way.
If you refer to my thread here, I compiled a list of all the springs and there specs. When I can afford it I'll be going OME 766 and 755 springs and maybe a spacer.
Unfortunately I couldn't find the info of the Perentie Springs, but they must be around the 420mm mark and have a high spring rate.

Thanks BadCo - yes I've read your thread and that's what I'm leaning toward. I also have some helper airbags to throw in but I want to make sure I don't end up closer to the ground. Mine seems to sit lower than other perenties, in fact all the survey models seem to sit lower particularly in the front.
Probably to do with the winch, extra generator, batteries, solid roof etc.
OME 766 and 755s would be the way to go, then some packers to level it out or to get the right height.
I am interested to hear what other people think though...

I'm thinking about getting the axle weights measured once I've got the setup right. What I don't know how to do is take this information and use it to pick the right springs.
Digging up an old thread here.
I need new shocks/springs all round.
The Perentie is higher than a Defender we know, is it higher than a stock 110 as well?
Having some talks with the mechanic and his supplier about what is the normal height for the Perentie.
So, what height should they be, and where do you take measurements from?
<edit>
What's the Gywn Lewis way?
