Thread: Favour to ask Vic Perentie owners.

Hi all, as mentioned in a previous post I have decided that a Perentie is on the shopping list. I am heading down to Melbourne this Saturday to look at the meagre offerings they have down there this round and thought while I was down there I might try and catch up with a Perentie owner or two to help make my mind up.

I am trying to decide between a 6x6 or 4x4. I don't want to commit to a 6x6 without having driven one, and in saying that I havn't even driven a 4x4 yet.
Rather than go there and waste peoples time that are trying to sell them privately (which I think most of these prices are to high) by test driving their vehicles that I have no intention of buying without serious haggling, I was going to extend my request to the kindhearted Aulro folk to let me have a drive of theirs and let me know how they have found them...

I feel a bit guilty asking strangers if I can drive their beloved cars but hopefully someone out there is keen to share their knowledge on these things and show off their wheels.

So I was after willing people who own either a 6x6 or a FFR/GS 4x4 who would be up for a chat and let me go for a spin with them in their rig. I will come to you and it will be on Saturday 10th October after lunch. Western or central Melbourne preferable or Ballarat / Geelong areas as I will be coming from Hamilton way.
I would also prefer if the 4x4 had a turbo on it (KLR or similar) as I will be doing this first up if I go this way.
I promise i'm not too much of a weirdo and there might even be a few beers in it for you!
