I've just started driving my newest Perentie FFR 4X4 and have noticed that on the top row LHS of the warning lamp panel there is a amber box with a graphic of a chassis and three axles. Obviously this was for the 6X6 function.
My '88 model (ARN 48-852) didn't have this lamp.
Does anyone else have this warning lamp on their 4X4? And if so is it only in the vehicles built in the '90s?
I'm thinking of stealing the panel for my Defender 6X6.

I am happy to swap a 4x4 panel with anyone who has a 6by one they don't want. Just to keep for a spare

My '88 certainly does. I figured they were generic for the army.
48-852 a MY88 definitely didn't have it. It is why it was such a surprise. I may swap the Defender panel with the Perentie panel, just so I can utilise the warning lamp for the intermediate axle diff lock.
