Thankyou for showing us what many have been unable to.
Very useful for people who wish to adapt a series roof to a Perentie. We now know what needs to be done.
For the rest of the roof, have a read here:

Thought you guys might like to see this. This bloke grafted a series roof onto a PERENTIE with defender windscreen. Looks like he's used some panel beating, no idea how though lol.

If you take a good look it still sits higher than a genuine 110 or defender roof.

I found these pictures on the internet a while ago; I don't know anything about the vehicle. The joins on the roof suggest it is a Series item (although 110 roofs aren't exactly difficult to find, so it begs the question of why).

The vehicle I posted in the OP is an FFR, but he didn't use series sides or soft sides. You can just make it in the photo that he fabricated his own sides out of aluminium chequerplate and security screen.
I see this vehicle all the time so I may take some more photos and post them up here for everyone's interest. I think it's a good setup for a tropical rig, max airflow![]()
What I've been wondering about is using a series windscreen to allow series roofs etc, because I have LOTS of series parts. Obviously windscreen brackets are different but what else?
Cheers,
Tom

Only catches I can see would be legal - reduced screen area and reduced wiper coverage. But you would almost certainly get away with it.

Thinking about it, you would probably have to re-position the LHS wheelbox to the position for the LHD vehicles. Otherwise you'd have to leave the wheelbox as original and use 2 x drivers side series wiper arms.
