If you want to have a show car , no.
If you want to know what will work well then a Bosch 85amp generic from a falcon with ears will fit with a bit of jiggling to line up the pulley.
That is if it is a V8.

I am presuming you are talking about an ex army personnel carrier. If so the original is an Hitachi 12V 70amp one with integral vacuum pump. LR170-401 is the model number. Make sure you are sitting down when you price a new one! There are aftermarket ones that are compatible, have a look on ebay etc. I think a certain model Nissan patrol diesel one will also fit. Do a search on here fir Isuzu 4BD1 alternator.

    Alternator

I fitted a aftermarket Nissan TD4.2 one, had to change the pulley and hose fittings.
    Way cheaper.

I had a mystery occasional power drain and auto elect advised the alternator was the fault. I bought a new rodeo alternator but problem persisted. Auto elect said I bought a dodgy alternator. So bought a new genuine Hitachi, but problem persisted. Auto elect said another dodgy alternator. Problem was dodgy auto elect. So have two good alternators. I left the new Hitachi in the 110.

Did your auto electrician test for any current draining through your alternators before he recommended you buy two new ones? It is an easy test to perform. I suggest you find a better auto electrician.

I don't think the dodgy auto elect did much except issue an invoice and park my 110 for a day. So yes never been back. The real problem found by a competent auto elect was at the join from the alternator loom with the cars loom. It wasn't properly insulated by another auto elect when I rebuilt the perentie 2001-2006. The +ve and earth would on occasions make contact and drain the battery.
