    Road Service

As an owner of many cars in N S W ,I was interested in the fact that most other states seem to cover the driver not car ,so no matter what car you are driving you are covered for road service .I sent an email to the N R M A and was phoned back saying they would bring this up at the next meeting .I was talking to a mate in N S W and he has joined the South Australian club keeping his N S W address and years off service with the N R M A and is covered Australia wide . I think the more N R M A members that send a msg to the N R M A asking them to change their rules the better , in the mean time I shall be contacting S A

I have ultimate cover with RACQ and this covers any car I am "driving". My nominated vehicle is the wife's Territory so she is covered under my membership as well.

I contacted the NRMA on this about this time last year and was told it was going to be introduced in April 2017 (April 1st?) but of course nothing happened. I contacted them again about 2 months ago and they knew nothing about it - they said if I wanted that for consideration I would need to write a submission for the Board to consider.

Hmmm - I dont think I should need to do that.

I have been a member of the NRMA for over 45 years and my membership will be up in next month so I might look to transfer to another state as well.

I have the same cover with RAC here in WA and unfortunately I have had to use their service which was fast and professional.
