SupporterAny one got some ideas for me, one of my 6x6s is jumping out of high range.Low range is not affected. I’ve adjusted the linkage up, tightened the tolerance on the selector fork in the transfer case and checked the top end of th TC all appears in good condition.
now I’m leaning towards either the detent springs and balls or the dogs on the high range being worn and not holding? I’ve disconnected the linkage all together to rule out it being linkage related.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
As JC stated above, most likely you need a new hi range gear and possibly the selector gear as well. Detent balls and springs won't be the problem.
