    Left hand diesel tank

I'm sure it's been asked before but I couldn't find it.....

I want to put a LH tank in the perentie, I'm happy to move the battery to one of the rear battery drawers (it's an FFR). I know I could get a RFSV tank and thow it in there pretty easy, however budget is an issue, so I either need a source of cheap used tanks OR an alternative. I measured my series 3 tank today, it's around 840 x 300mm. I'd ahve to move the exhaust over a little to make it fit width wise but the larger problem is the length. the front suspension mount is tooooooo close.

So has anyone done their own install? can you offer ideas that will work?

i am currently thinking about the same thing I saw these online yesterday I'm not sure how reasonable the price is seems quite a lot to me. I wonder what it would cost to have something fabricated?

Yes I did see those, don't get me wrong, one of those would be great! however it exceeds my current budget. especially when I still need the filler, various hoses, transfer pump, gauge, wiring to move the battery plus wiring accessories and whatever else I haven't thought of yet.

I bought a NRC9225 Def 90 tank from https://bearmach.com/fuel-tank-nrc9225. Freight was $50. I fitted it to the RHS to my 1985 Isuzu 120 ute. The issue fitting it to the LHS would obviously be the exhaust; the pipe would have to run underneath the tank (not ideal on an off road vehicle - you'd want to make that section easily replaceable!) or 'laker' style under the sill . Even if you were willing to have the exhaust re-routed, the additional cost would probably mean it's no cheaper than the RFSV tank option.

I'm happy to take some pictures of my RHS set up if helps though.
