    window rattles

    I know people have talked about this before but I cannot find where someone has been able to buy the U section rubber / felt , that could help limit window rattles in the last few years .I need the part number and shop that someone has used in the last year. I have bought the correct felt fitted it , same rattle .

    The shop is called Old Auto Rubber, the part number is '350.360'.

    The difference it makes to the doors is night and day; completely silent and smooth operation.

    FWiW.

    I have used a spray of Silicone to lubricate the channels & it really helps with the smooth operation of the glass.
    Also great for seat belts that don't slide easily.

    Many thanks for the replie . The Penrith mob are shut till the 7th . so i typed in 350.360 ( the supplied part number ) and had a few hits ,one of the mobs that hold the felt is Scotts Old Auto Rubber , and they also do replacements wiring looms for Land Rovers . again thanks for the part number , it makes it a simple matter .
