			TOWING

I have been reading about ATM,s etc and I see that in QLD and Vic if a car is built before 1992 it can tow 1.5 times its weight .I cannot find the rules for N S W but most states have been trying to fall in to line with each other .This is why you see HD holdens towing trailers with a raceing car on it at the historic races I do see that some Perentie owners have taken their trucks to have an engineer raise the so called limit to the 110 . It would be handy if we had a list of people who do this sort of thing I also see that the people who have modified their cars tow bars for extra weight do not seem to have modified the Perentie frame , so you would think that the engineers think the frame is strong enough , they just make the tow bar bigger and have more anchor points to the chassis which they leave alone .
