    Stone Age tech woes

    Hi all

I resently recieved a JVC KD MK77 12 disc CD changer and would like to use it in my series 3. I managed to get the head unit to work by following the wiring instruction on the base plate, but now I'm struggling with the changer it has a cable that connects it to the head unit and 2 exta wires a yellow one and a black one. I connected the yellow to power and the black as ground but nothing happens, this is my first run in with cd changers and it has got me stumped any help would be appreciated.

I found the cable connections on the 'Net but I don't know if it helps. Pin 3 is B+, pin 8 is ground.
