funny language australian, I grew up to believe that if that something "hummed" it stank, or if something was "on the hum" it was either going rotten or was bodgie, or sometimes a bloke who was broke who was looking for quid was "on the hum".....funny language...hope we never lose it.....you young blokes ....look after it!

My instalation might give you a few ideas.
10' Sub cabinet in mounted in rear side storage bin.
Decent speakers in front doors and rear pillars have been spaced out a little but it was worth the effort.
I transplanted decent tweeters into the front door pillar up-rights.
The 3 amps are mounted into a rack in the opposite side storage bin space.

Wiring is all custom laid for quality reasons. Head unit is Alpine dedicated i-Pod controller.

Sound is pretty darned sweet if I say so myself. and it doesn't really interfear with my rear cargo bay.

    You're welcome.
    Just to add to this.
Before I installed the Rockford Fosgate gear I used to run a 8" Bass Tube in the same space.
I fitted a small net above it to hold recovery straps in place.
We ony do sand and dirt recoveries here...so no wet mud to fall down into the woofer cone.
It might not match everyones needs but it's just another idea that people can use if space is an issue for a sub.
