Thread: uhf radio for D2

Ok, here goes---- going on a trip up north, into the gulf, I would like a uhf radio and aerial, can anyone advise me on a fitout that wont break the bank, and will do the job . Oh, and one an old fart with limited knowledge can use , Cheers

Thanks for the info, I've been reading the threads relating to this, probably have just enough knowledge to be dangerous, But can these radios be reprogrammed when the system is changed to 80 channels
