Icom 440 are great we have 30+ since they first came out every day use and not a problem!
unfortunately SWMBO isn't keen on spending that much on a radio, so at the moment it is none rather than buying a cheap unit
I've got an older gme tx4xxx.
The backlight doesn't work, so its a pain to use at night, but it's yours if you want it.
