A little bit different. Jensen Sub woofer QX90

    Hi guys

I dont know if anyone has Jensen speakers, I have a home theater system.
today I went to set the speakers up again with the microphone to auto setup the amp, and my god went to adjust the subwoofer which has 2 10" subs in it and booom booom booom No it didn't blow up but hell it had a mind of its own banging and bombing away and the Amp wasn't even on therefore it was getting NO signal from the amp causing it to work.

this was just on touching the frequency nob, we could touch the nob at all as every time we did the bloody thing had a spaz attack.

Does anyone know what could be the problem???? could it be something has died inside?....

while on the sub sounds like static but in bass form of cause but when on they are constantly working. I tried setting up the speakers anyway and the amp did not pick on a problem however when putting a movie on it sounded terrible as the sub was constantly making a deep static noise in the backgrround

The system I got has a 10year warranty so I guess I will be trying that out but thought I would ask here in case it could just be something simple.

I hope there are people out there with good storys of warranty as my system is not made anymore.,

I don't know much about them, but I think I'd be checking all the wiring first.
