    no music

I have a 96 Defender with the original radio cassette in it and when i disconnected the battery it has gone into security mode. I got suggested 1234 but it hasn't worked. We are about to go on the Gibb River road and I would love some music back, any ideas ?
    Thanks gschulzey

I would try Land Rover Australia with the VIN, Serial Numb of radio and model.

I have seen forums with people posting and replying with codes but not sure if that is reliable or legitimate.

    Here's an example from google.

Lost car radio codes can be retrieved by your serial number here Forum

Might be simpler to replace it. From memory the radio cassette from that era wasnt all that precious and some pretty cheap gear around now that is just as good.
