    1 for the TV guru's

    Gday All,

My TV has a strange problem and this is what it is. All channels work well in digital but the ABC ( all channnels ) have no volume. If I put the TV into ATV they all have volume.
The TV in our daughters room works fine on DTV with all ABC channels having volume. Both TV's use the same antenna, and picture is fine.

Can anyone enlighten me how this can happen, or what they think could be the problem.

    Cheers and Thanks

    Ean

Check your the TV setup menu, sounds like you have a 'mute' setting switched on.

Is it possible to mute just 1 channel..ABC I think has 4 seperate channels and none of them have volume , but every other 1 does, even SBS.

Ean Ring the manufacturer of the tv and ask if there has been any firmware updates for your model.
There have been and will be movements of channels and frequencies at various times and mostly there is a fix via the manuafacturer of the tv.
There was a forum that advised of these issuies but I cant remember exactly which one.
That is where I would start. I cant see why the sound would not be there only on the abc.
