No experience with this particular model - I have avery cheap one.
It is not clear to me how the GPS component communicates with the person wanting to know where the tracker is?  It seems that it uses the mobile network (as mine does) so if you are outside mobile range it is not much use - yes the tracker knows where it is but if outside mobile range cannot communicate that information.
For remote use the Tracker needs to be able to communicate to the via satellite and then via the phone/internet network.
