Mines a D3, but I used a bracket that clips on the side of the instrument binnacle without screws or holes etc so completely reversible from a company called Proclip.
They make a product for the RRS

Hi, Could anyone give me advice as to how best to install a CB Radio ( GME with remote control mic type) into my recently acquired 2012 Range Rover Sport? It seems that Land Rover make it almost impossible to install such devices with almost no where to mount a mic.
Also I would like to run a cable inside the car so I can view the image picked up by the camera on my caravan. Can anyone suggest ways and means? I would be very appreciative. I thought working on a 2003 Range Rover L322 was hard but the Sport seems way more difficult.

Good afternoon Andrew, Thanks you for your quick response and good suggestion. I will contact proclip to get details. Do you have any ideas about to easily get through the firewall so I can acess the engine compartment?
Regards
Peter
If you go to the D3 D4 RRS forum and search around you will find some info on that. look for instructions for installing Traxide dual battery systems and you will find some info there. Don't know about the RRS, assume it is the same, but there is a place on the firewall in the drivers side where you can feed cables through, can be a bit tight at times I understand, but doable.
Do a search in the D3/D4 area. ( try ' How to install an IC-440 in a D3 ' , it will give you some good ideas at least. ) The mike can be mounted by conventional mike clips, attached to the dash area. If that scares you, do like I did, and just leave it sitting in the cupholders. The radio can be mounted under a seat. A couple of narrow mounts, and it will slide back and forward with the seat, and not hit or interfere with anything. The power can be picked up from the feeds to the accessory plugs ( under the cupholders in a D4, no idea if your RRS is the same )
