Can't help you with the rear light wires (I've got mine so I can turn on any time so when loaded can see what's behind). However, in the fuse box above drivers feet there is at least one spare spade connector which is free and which is connected to the ignition. Just check with multimeter. Alternatively, you can buy a spade fuse "double adapter" which replaces a spade fuse with a holder for a fuse and a new power source. See for example:
BAINTECH AUTO BLADE FUSE HOLDER - Double Adaptor | Battery Business.

The fuses are live all the time which you don't want.
Someone posted here a while ago, that even if sunroofs are not fitted , there are wires for them sitting at the top of the screen.
Sure enough I dug around after taking of the plastic thingo, and found a wire that is live on accessory. ( and an earth wire)
If you have a sunroof , just tap off the power wire.
I have fitted my screen just behind the rear view mirror and that is a great place for it IMHO. A 4Inch screen is best.
I bought a $50 RF camera one from ebay and it works well . The receiver can just sit on the shelf next to the rear view mirror.
