    Cheap pocket oscilloscope

Just aquired one of these for occasional use (hobby, not work or precision...) and was wondering if anyone else had used them, - and how useful you find it...

Being of venerable vintage, 'Digital Storage' is a tad unfamiliar to me, whereas my old analogue Textronix was so much easier to use for things like checking distributor pick-up wave form.
(just twirl the knobs till the jiggles stay within the screen and make an intelligent shape!)

have two digital not so 'pocket' osciliscopes at home and find them brilliant, I cant imagine why the pocket ones would not be more than adiquate, with todays technology they should be projecting the waveform out into thin air for you all in a package the size of a $1 coin!

id be looking into the acuracy of the device though, likely to be the only thing that could cause you issues (depending on how acurate you need it that is)

Just wanted something to view wave-forms in real time., get an idea of what's going on, -no need to measure to the nth degree.
Seems to be capable of that!
