The radio only. It was $99 here last month and limited to store stock only (spose that backs up their explanation - clearance ) so consequently all stores sold out before the sale date (inside trading no doubt )

While canvassing multiple Aldi stores today for their elusive 12v air compressor, I had a look at their $99 UHF radio - "Onix" branded. While it's not a remote head unit, it pretty much has all the other features, including DCS.

So I bought one. The mic feels a bit cheap, other than that, I feel slightly less paranoid having a $100 rig in the unsecured Perentie rather than a $300 GME/Uniden.

Ps. I finally found a compressor in the 4th store I visited. Last one and was buried under a stack of floor mats.

New and old side by side, I'm not sure of the difference in real terms unfortunately..
