Sorry mick if this is hijacking your thread as yours is a Defender question, but apart from sending a PM I don't know how else to do it.
Not a problem at all - go for it.

Can I ask how much that cost. I like the idea of replacing the small rear visiion mirror with a larger one with reversing camera included, but I'm a bit daunted by the costs I've heard.

I did wonder about getting a GPS such as a Hema HN7 if it could double as a revensing camera and mounting it on the driver's side of the steering wheel to avoid blocking central vision, as that would kill two birds with one stone - GPS and reversing camera.

    ARB Reversing camera

    Hi Mick
I bought the ARB kit. It was a bit expensive but I liked the modular aspect to it. I can add extra cameras. It's got sound. You can fit night cameras to it and there is a trailer kit available they cuts out the car camera when hooked up. (Costs extra though)
But mostly I bought it as I liked that it replaced the old mirror and looks standard. My only problem was I couldn't get the 'button' to stick to the windscreen so had to modify the rear vision mirror arm.
Works a treat! Highly recommend but it was $400.
