Chinese UHF Radios
I have a Wouxun KG-UVD1P radio that a forum member put me on to about 4 years ago. It's been fine, but somehow I've lost the battery. Before I buy a new battery, I'm keen to hear of any recommended brands/models/suppliers, in case I've better off upgrading.
I think I bought mine from 409SHOP LIMITED 2-way Radio & walkie talkie accessory manufacturer.

Can't go past GME, we've got about a dozen or so of their UHF's and on the rare occasion that I've had to ring GME service dept, I'm always talking to an Aussie... that and they'll usually tell you how to solve the problem for free, over the phone. Good products and fantastic service...

What features would be an upgrade from the Wouxon? I have that model & it seems to have everything.

Probably not much - no need to worry now, as I found the battery. Hadn't been charged for probably 2 years, plugged it in, and it says fully charged! Had it running for a couple of hours last night, good as gold.
