    That's going to be a challenge...

    Intelematics Australia broadcasts a national encrypted RDS-TMC service focused initially on urban Australia under the brand 'SUNA Traffic Channel'. The service reaches around 85% of urban Australia, using commercial FM broadcasters in seven cities, as well as via XML for online and smartphone applications. The service is available on GPS navigation systems including Navma, Mio, Uniden, iPhone (Navigon & Sygic), Eclipse, Pioneer, Alpine and Clarion. SUNA Traffic Channel is also available in Ford, Holden, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and Mercedes Benz navigation systems.

    SUNA is currently the only source of comprehensive, metropolitan congestion monitoring content in Australia ? proprietary technology interfaces to traffic light control systems. The SUNA broadcast service is fully compliant with both RDS and TMC.
    However, since the broadcast is encrypted it does not work on in-car GPS navigation systems that do not have a commercial arrangement with SUNA.

    More info herehttp://www.sunatraffic.com.au/where-to-purchase-suna/The RDS-TMS hardware from Land Rover is not able to decrypt the broadcast information from Suna. They do not have an "open" broadcast like in Europe.

    On the Euro-spec Land Rovers there is an additional antenna amplifier which is mounted on the tailgate glass, and runs back to the radio head unit via a coax cable. This is missing from the Australian delivered cars. But it wouldn't matter since the decryption function is missing.

    TPMS

    I would like to retrofit the TPMS into my 2014 (MY2015) D4 HSE. I notice from your other posts that you have done this on a 2015 FL2 where the wiring was already in existance. Not sure from your photos whether or not you removed the plastic covers under the mudguards to expose the wiring. Certainly just looking under my wheels at the arches, there is no wiring visible. The VIN is FAXXXXXX, so thought this would have been in place. Any advice appreciated.

    Been a busy few weeks but slowly adding to the list of achievements, so far it's up to;

    Premium Surround Sound factory retrofits (Alpine, Harmon Kardon and Meridian)
    Retrofitted and activated factory Bluetooth phone
    Retrofitted factory DAB+ Digital Radio
    Retrofitted and activated TPMS (MY15 only)

    Follow Me Home Reverse (lighting from the remote fob)
    Activated Timed Climate
    Activated ECO Cruise data

    Activated video playback from a USB stick (Freelander, and others)

    Unlocked navigation entry on the move

    Unlocked video display on the move (TV, DVD, USB ) software only, no black boxes

    Converted a TDV6 into an SDV6, and a TD4 into an SD4

    4x4i screen on the Freelander 2 is very close, but still a work in progress

    Also working on retrofitting the Incontrol Apps to the Meridian-equipped cars

    Hows everyone else's projects coming along?

    It is effectively a remap since the ECU get's reflashed with the file from the SDV6. This I saw first hand. I've not done it personally I have a guy who dials in to my laptop and does it. So I've seen it done, partially at least.

    It's been done with the SDD diagnostic system that dealers have, I don't know if it's possible with a Nanocom or IIDTool, probably not?

    Can tell you that it needs the Engineering Mode to be activated with a 1-time password, and some files manipulated, and it's a non-standard procedure since reflashing the ECU with SDD is blocked unless a factory update is available.

    As you guys are both in WA, perhaps my mate in Perth with the Freelander we've been working on could help out.

    Latest effort is retrofitting heated seats to a 2015MY Freelander 2.

    All OEM/original components used;

    Heater pads
    Heated seat modules under each seat (Volvo parts LOL)
    Wiring looms from the heated seat modules to the main harness under the seats
    New HVAC panel which has the heated seat buttons

    Not exactly plug & play, it needs to be activated in the CCF and here's where the fun starts. JLR actually cocked up the CCF in the 2013MY onward Freelander2 and a lot of fields are missing in the SDD. Even as-built fields are missing. Had to get our software hacker guru to correct the files in order to make this work.

    Since JLR dealers never do this sort of thing, it was overlooked, because it was never needed no-one noticed the mistakes.

    All sorted now though... just in time for winter!
