Wierd behaviour from the radio / menu display

    Hi all,

I have a LR D4 MY11 with a Harman/Kardon factory installed system. Today I have had some problems with the Bluetooth not connecting properly which wasn't too much of an issue initially. Now I noticed the radio won't turn on/off at all if the accessories are not active and once turned off, the display is staying illuminated even with the car fully locked etc.

I have disconnected the battery to prevent it running down overnight. Has anyone seen this before or know of a way to reset the system? Prior to disconnecting it I deleted all the Bluetooth phone connections from the memory invade this was the root cause.

    Cheers.

Well, after I gave the battery a night off, reconnecting it this morning seems to have reset everything and the radio is now behaving properly. Must be a bug of some sort. Very strange. Anyway all good for the moment.

I had that bug too, when I was in Alice Springs. As my D4 MY11 TDV6 was in for service, I mentioned that. The dealer didn't have time to look up a fix and merely performed a hard reset (leaving battery disconnected overnight will do the same thing), which bypassed the issue. The bug is still there, but hasn't resurfaced. My problem started with a bluetooth connection as well - my wife was on my mobile phone, when I started the car and moved it - the bluetooth took over the call on my car (to her annoyance!) and after I moved away a distance, the call disconnected... sort of!
