It's too large for my liking. I prefer the panel mount stuff for its "discreet" size.

With technology, I can't imagine why its so damn big, or maybe it's just so it fills the cup holder
That is correct Michael, I am going for the 100% reversible. It will actually live in the back behind the front Pax seat mounted in an as yet to be made false floor. I'm also looking at a Drifta Car Back kitchen to live under this false floor which will also be the outside kitchen for our soon to arrive caravan!

Agree with you on the panel mount stuff if it's a permanent install.
    Cheers Nigel

Carling Technologies make a dual 3.15A charger in their common 'rocker switch' footprint.
    IP64 too!

    yeeeeees,,,
    but where does it fit?
the wider switches around the binnacle would be about the same size but the usb cord would be directly behind your knuckles,
the switch block left of the ashtray would be ideal but the switches are much smaller,,,

Maybe some of the defender drivers amongst us will sacrifice a few amps for the IP64 rating. Because you may want to charge you phone inside the car while its raining.

I just wish I could find a single wire in USB. Dosent need to be high power.
As I have already mounted 3 switches above the mirror. But if I could just tuck a USB in that cavity. So can feed a short USB to power a dash cam.

That would work. Good find. It's hard to find some of the random ideas I have in my head.
