    Small LED and Switch Wiring

I want to add a few small LEDs to the rear interior that are controlled with a simple on/off switch and connected to permanent power from aux battery.

I have a Traxide kit, so already have a convenient & suitable power feed.
The existing power cable is a 5mm auto twin, fused and grounded to an earth stud (see diagram).
The planned LEDs are 3W each so up to 12W total if I use 4 of them (may use only two).
My proposed circuit is circled in green in the diagram below.
    Couple of questions ?.

Ground for Switch - can I just use the Traxide power cable negative wire or do I have to separately ground to an earth stud?

Ground for each LED - can I daisy-chain the earth wires between LEDs and then to the switch ground?

Power for each LED - can I daisy-chain the power supply between LEDs?

The switch is a 20mm diameter eBay special with spade style terminals (see diagram).
Would this typically be suitable for the application I have? i.e. to supply 1A (switch capacity not confirmed in listing).

    Cheers,
    Scott

Ground for Switch - can I just use the Traxide power cable negative wire or do I have to separately ground to an earth stud? If Traxide negative is to chassis / body, then to the body is ok. If not, back to battery.

Ground for each LED - can I daisy-chain the earth wires between LEDs and then to the switch ground? Yes, but if there is a break in the chain, lights after this won't work. Rare problem.

Power for each LED - can I daisy-chain the power supply between LEDs? Yes. Same issue as for ground.

The switch is a 20mm diameter eBay special with spade style terminals (see diagram).
Would this typically be suitable for the application I have? i.e. to supply 1A. Should be fine.

Thanks. Yes it is to body (shown near top of diagram).
So was assuming I would not need a separate ground/earth cable for the LEDs or switch but just simply connect to the Traxide negative as per my diagram?

    Scott.
There is some pretty fash marine gear available to suit your high standard of modifications.
To start with look into a marine busbar to distrubute the power, once its in you can add more with ease.
