Not that model but I tried a rear vision mirror with screen in my P38A and found it virtually useless during the day. The Rangie let in so much light that it washed out the image.
In an effort to try and find the most seamless way of operating a rear view camera, I came across this whole mirror replacement. A couple of questions
1. How do you remove the factory rear view mirror?
2. Anyone seen or tried this style of mirror in a disco 3?

Don't forget the plastic shroud around the base of the D3 rear view mirror hides the rain sensor, and the D3 mirror is also auto dimming.
You should be able to heat up the mirror base with a heat gun to soften the adhesive to remove it.
Personally, not sure I'd want to go there.
Hrmmm. I may have a look at a wifi receiver that hooks up to the rear camera and receives via the iPhone. Anyone had a play with them?
