Reversing camera does not like the heat.

I have an aftermarket reversing camera that is out of warranty. When the outside temperature starts to get up in the high 20's the screen goes all pixly or white when it comes on.

I do not know if I am getting some sort of electrical interference with it or not.
I think it has more to do with the camera and not the monitor.

If it is a radio unit , I would suspect the receiver.

I have gone through a few and now have added a heat sink and paste to my receiver which is on the top shelf above the screen on my D2.
The bodies of the first 2 were melted .

it is a standalone camera / monitor, and the two are connected via cable.

No idea about that, but when I drive down a certain local street mine picks up someone's TV!
