Do you know if they have ever worked correctly or is this a "new" thing?
If they have never worked correctly, it could be they are the wrong impedance speakers.
If its a new thing I'm not too sure.
My recently-acquired base spec D3 TDV6 was bought already fitted with a JVC KW-AV51 a/v unit. The rear speakers work fine but the front ones only provide a very low volume, left and right the same. The fader/balance settings are not the culprit. The 4 sets of speaker cables coming out of the rear of the unit all have power according to the multimeter. Any ideas please? Thanks in advance.

you cant measure the audio signal with a multi meter.
And this thread would be be better located in the car audio etc forum on this site, especially if its just a generic head unit and not a Land Rover optional model.
As suggested, I've moved this to the car audio area - being a none standard system, hopefully you will get more help here....

My fronts quieten (not mute) the front speakers when sat nav "speaks" - as in says next turn...
Not sure how the factory system controls that but possibly a wire plugged or not plugged into the after market head unit?
