    Aldi Deep Cycle Battery

Aldi have Deep Cycle batteries on this week for $100. Has anyone had any experience with them, particularly mounted in an engine bay?
    Thanks

Saw them myself. No information on them though. It's amazing what you find in Aldi.

Are these the 38AH AGM batteries with the bolt on terminals?

One thing I'll say about Aldi. You don't like it, take it back. No questions asked. Ever. The other mobs have a lot to learn, or they'll sink.

Wait until Kaufland gets here. Even Costco is scared of them.

As I've said elsewhere, I love diversity. Let Woolworths and Wesfarmers respond. I doubt they can, but hey, who knows? Aldi are far better for our dairy farmers. Maybe they're better for all of us.

I think that promotion has ended, but maybe there are some still around. I found that if there was something I wanted, they could/would check availability at other stores, no problem. That's how I got my pressure washer.

True. I looked at them when they came out a few weeks ago. I couldn't find any reference to any other deep cycle batteries coming out soon. Do you have a link to the batteries that are for sale this week?

They are certainly better at sending profits overseas. I can’t stand shopping there personally, you get treated like a sheep and herded through the checkouts faster than you can keep up. They also have things to learn IMO.

Ohh i wouldn't mind one to top up my battery banks. The 55AH optima is a little too small. From my recent experience with car batteries, price has no indication of quality.
